Wyatt is a blue merle male born on February 19, 2001 .

Wyatt is a certified search and rescue dog with Santa Barbara County Search and Rescue and the California Rescue Dog Association (CARDA).

He is trained as an air scent dog meaning he searches for live people in wilderness or urban environments. He is cross trained for cadaver searches as well.

Wyatt has a strong work ethic and has proven to be an excellent search and rescue dog. Wyatt and I are frequently deployed on extended search and rescue assignments and I am consistently impressed with his drive and willingness to work in what are typically less than desirable conditions. He has a solid temperament and has been an absolute joy to train, work and live with.

I would, without any reservation, purchase another dog from Kachina Mountain Australian Shepherds for the purposes of search and rescue work. I credit Kristi Cetrulo with breeding nice, hard working dogs that you can easily live with once their jobs are done for the day.
