 Gale is a blue merle Australian Shepherd born Feb. 19, 2001. What can I say about Gale? She is the kindest dog I have ever owned, has no concept of “dominance” so she gets along with every dog (even the dog aggressive ones) and every person she has ever met. She also has one helluva work ethic – never say die, no matter what we are doing.
She is also impossible to tire out! Gale is one of the most biddable Aussies I have ever worked with: if she understands what you are asking, she turns herself inside-outside to accommodate you. She is actively competing in agility trials and is about ready to start her stockdog career. She is a wide worker (for an Aussie!) and is very kind to her stock, even her ducks (which she really likes) but she holds her own on cattle.
