Bess is a black tri Australian Shepherd born Feb. 19, 2001.
Bess was the “first one out of the box” as a puppy. I distinctly remember her first act when her eyes opened: she looked at me (and really saw me for the first time) and barked. Demon child. She also inherited her father’s humongous tongue and it never fit in her mouth when she was little, it was always sticking out!
